Dedicated to my father, interned in a Nazi concentration camp. How many times I've seen pictures like this then the world, as if it had been for nothing all that horror. Now my father is far from here, at peace with its friends who have not returned back. The clouds will be read if they are not clouds of ash ...

really fabulous. i love the tone and i agree with all of the previous comments. i recently saw a collection of WWII photographs and this definitely resembles those mostly because of the mass graves.
It also strongly resembles the genocide ongoing in not just Africa, but many other countries and territories.

Just in response to the comment made by Jokerswild180,

This picture is almost symbolic of WWII mostly because of the pictures taken in the horror of death and world suffering of WWII. Sure, it happens on other continents but the scene, if seen like this, reminds people of WWII. When I saw the picture from the gallery I saw WWII.
It is a fabulous artwork AA

I agree with jokerwild180's opinion. Just take a look to africa where thousands of people (and children) die of starvation.

Well... Nevertheless a very expressive drawing. I really like the mask-like faces.

Just WWII? If you disregard skin color, this scene happened on every continent at some point in history, be it the Rwandan genocide or the Aztec sacrifices.
Thanks for getting political with your art. Seeing art and hearing music with charged messages lets me know there is hope for our present in the near future.
